Hidden Languages

My heart skips a beat,
When our eyes meet.
Though we don’t say a word,
The unspoken is heard.

Words are not needed between us,
They are only one of our ways to communicate.
Across the room we stand,
Though in our hearts we’re hand in hand.

Our eyes speak more than words could explain,
While our smiles give our intentions away.
We don’t require much you see,
Just love and affection, indeed.

Que mes baisers soient les mots d’amour que je ne te dis pas,
So you see, our languages are vast,
They’re foreign to any who are outcast.

There’s other ways we talk,
It’s true,
But for now,
Those are secrets we’re hiding from you.
